MindAry Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information the MindAry app collects, how it is used, and how you can remove it. It applies to the MindAry web app at mindary.net and to the MindAry Android app.

Information we collect

• Account information — email address and an encrypted password, or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google.
• Profile information — full name, nickname, date of birth, hobbies, notes, profile and cover photos.
• Content you create — diary entries, gratitude notes, mood entries, schedule items, appointments and to-do tasks.
• Family and friends contacts — names, relationship, phone numbers, locations, birthdays and photos you enter yourself.
• Device preferences — theme, notification and microphone preferences stored locally on your device.

We do not collect advertising identifiers, precise location, or your phone's address book.

Microphone and voice input

Voice input in the diary uses your device's built-in speech recognition. Only the resulting text is saved. MindAry does not record, store or upload audio, the microphone stops automatically after 7 seconds of silence, and microphone access can be disabled in Settings.

How we use your information

We use your data to provide the app's features, authenticate you, show reminders for appointments, tasks and birthdays, and send account emails such as verification and password resets. We never sell or rent your data and never share it with advertisers.

Where your data is stored

Data is stored in a managed cloud database and private file storage, transmitted over encrypted HTTPS and encrypted at rest. Access rules restrict every record to the account that created it.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete individual items at any time, or delete your entire account from Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent. See how to delete your account.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data. For anything not available in the app, email privacy@mindary.net and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

MindAry is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
